Christina Farruggio
About Christina
Christina has been specializing in private voice lessons since 2008. Voice lessons are focused on proper vocal technique, vowel shaping, breath control, and song interpretation. Christina teaches students to sing in various styles of music, including classical, musical theater, jazz and pop. She has prepared students of all ages for NYSSMA, All-State, local musical theater, and Broadway auditions.
Christina holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, a Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership and is a certified teacher in the state of New York. She has experience teaching elementary general music, chorus and band. Her experiences also include the direction of middle school choruses, orchestra, and musical direction of middle school theater. Her latest musical accomplishments include the musical direction of high school theater and assistant directing a high school vocal jazz ensemble.
